Life has been a bit hectic, but even so have found time to experiment with materials for my personal project on worship. This is a wee collage I made last night. To be made into possibly a piece of jewellery, possibly something else.

Sketchbook work in progress for a personal project about natural formations. Here I'm playing with surface textures and juxtaposing shapes to create more interesting outcomes. I'm also particularly interested in the hexagon which is one of the most perfect shapes in nature- replicating itself exactly.

We've been investigating drawing at GSA this week. I've spent a long time attempting to define it; the closest I've come to thus far is: 'the visual representation of human experience' this is one of my visual experiments.

A project I did recently examining the wearing of lipstick. For this piece I changed the context of putting lipstick on: from a private act, to a performative act in itself. I hope in this way the viewer is able to consider not just the external act of putting on lipstick, but also the woman behind the guise. Modelled by lovely Alice :)
