This blog is meant to be for my 'art work' however, I went to Burnt island at the weekend (a sweet little coastal town east of Edinburgh) I have just started to get to grips with the camera (after years of being mystified by it). I loved the dramatic landscape and skies. This picture of sand is one of my favourites. 
The coal in the sand makes great patterns there,
