This is part of a picture, but my scanner's a bit too small :(
 'In My Heart I Trust'
I've been writing little poems for quite a while, a friend saw them the other day and said I should share them, although I am quite nervous (they are a wee bit dark! eek). But maybe other people might like them. No dead birds, promise.

Cut my heart
Give me a slice
we shall sit and feast on it
my adoring stupid heart

That gave all itself
and forgot how to be itself
Now we shall sit and gnaw on it
my silly little heart.

Now my teeth are through it
I can feel it pumping with all its might
with age old fangs
I teach it not to forget

How we sat down and
Sliced it
Ate it
Cut it
and told it not to forget.

Cut out my heart
banish it from this chest
Open the casket
Let it free the nest

Wrap it up tight
in icicles and thorns
Let it be forgotten
so it can not be torn

Bury it deep
So it cannot be found
deep down in the dark
deep dark in the ground

And one day
Far from now
a young boy
may stumble across
a beating lump in the ground

Digging for it he finds
the feeble forgotten heart
still beating, pumping
with all its might.

I tried to cut you out
to wrap you up in thorns
i tried to bury, forget you.
But you wouldn't let me be.

hello, long time since I've blogged. Been busy making lots of wallpaper, however, this weekend a wave of collage creativity came upon me. Some are quite big, but here's a smally that fits on my a4 scanner.
